わたしたちは、20年以上前に、輸入雑貨のセレクショップからスタートした小さな会社ですが、その中で出会った金沢出身の作家さんとの出会いにはじまり、今では、地域や時代や年齢を超えて、多くのお客様に多様な作家さんやメーカーさんの商品をご紹介させて頂けるようになりました。オンラインショップといえども、できる限りの対話を通じて、お客様のお声に耳を傾けながらお店づくりをしていきたいと思いますので、商品に関するお問い合わせは、お気軽にお尋ねくださいませ。

こちらのサイトにある商品の殆どが、金沢市尾張町にある八百萬本舗内セレクトショップ［casa rua / ARU / ニュー・カナモノ/ 一果］ で取り扱われています。実物を手にとってご覧になりたい方は、八百萬本舗に是非足を運んでみてください。他の小売店とはちがう、時代を超えたエンターテイメントなショッピング体験が楽しめることと思います。店内には400年以上前(安土桃山〜江戸初期)に建造された金沢城惣構跡(※)をご覧になることができます。

Most of the products featured on this site are available at the select shop located within Yaobang Honpo in Owari-cho, Kanazawa City, which includes [casa rua / ARU / New Kanamono / Icca]. If you would like to see the actual items, we encourage you to visit Yaobang Honpo. You can expect a shopping experience that transcends time, offering a unique form of entertainment unlike any other retail store. Inside, you can also view the ruins of Kanazawa Castle, constructed over 400 years ago during the Azuchi-Momoyama to early Edo period.

八百萬本舗内部には、金沢市の貴重な歴史遺産である「惣構(そうがまえ）」という城壁の一部が保存されています。
「惣構(そうがまえ）」とは、城下町を囲い込んだ金沢城の防御のための掘りや土居のことで、安土桃山時代から江戸時代初めに築かれました。金沢城下には、内・外二重の惣構が築かれ、こちらの東内惣構は、慶長4年（1599年）に二代藩主前田利長が作らせたといわれています。堀の城側には土を盛り上げて土居を築き、竹、松、ケヤキなどを植えていました。金沢の街中を歩くと、あちこちに坂道や水路を見つけることができます。惣構は斜面を利用して築かれ、坂道の下の水路として市内各所に残っているのです。時代の流れとともに、多くの土居は崩され、堀は埋め狭められてしまいましたが、現在でも一部は市民の生活の場にとけ込んで点在し、かけがえのない歴史遺産となっています。
Kanazawa City Designated Historic Site: Kanazawa Castle Sogamae Remains
Inside the Yaoman Honpo, a valuable historical heritage of Kanazawa City, known as "Sogamae," which refers to a portion of the castle walls, is preserved.
"Sogamae" consists of moats and earthen embankments that surrounded Kanazawa Castle's castle town for defensive purposes, built from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period. Within the Kanazawa castle town, both inner and outer double Sogamae were constructed, with the eastern inner Sogamae built in the 4th year of Keicho (1599) by the second feudal lord, Maeda Toshinaga. On the castle side of the moat, earth was piled up to create embankments, and bamboo, pine, and Zelkova trees were planted.
While walking through the streets of Kanazawa, you can find slopes and waterways in various locations. The Sogamae was constructed utilizing the slopes, and the waterways remaining in various parts of the city were formed below these slopes. Over time, many of the embankments were destroyed, and the moats were filled in and narrowed. However, even today, some sections of the Sogamae are integrated into the lives of the citizens and remain as irreplaceable historical heritage.
